PAINTING OUR WOOD CEILINGS BEFORE/AFTER PHOTOS

Here’s a glimpse into our diamond in the rough. The first time I walked into our now forever home I fell in love despite all the outdated cosmetic features. The family room was huge with vaulted ceilings covered in an orange colored pine wood. I automatically envisioned beautiful white ceilings. After several months of living here, I knew it was time to tackle this project. It would transform this outdated 90’s home into a modern farmhouse in the city.
Now it was time to do some research and find the right paint. I knew Benjamin Moore was the place to go! I was thrilled to find out that they had a primer that required no sanding. You can paint over a mirror with this stuff!

Here we go!!!!

After four days of painting, spilling a full tray of paint all over myself we finally finished. Just …wow! This space went from a dark oppressed space to a light and bright modern family room. It is so rewarding to see your vision come to life.
